Posting here because the only way I won't procrastinate is if it's right in my face

1) Finish
Durarara!! since the dub will be airing on Adult Swim soon
2)
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica because it's already over and supposedly a Magical Girl show that's all "dark and edgy" :V To me that defeats the purpose of the genre but idk, maybe it'll be refreshing!
3)
Blue Exorcist because my big sis already likes it and I think this will be one of those series that she'll really like for a long time XD If not close to it! I'm only 2 1/2 episodes in, but I like it so far!
I'll elaborate once I see more though, can't now 'cause of storms orz4) Contemplate finishing Baccano since the subs are available legitly online, but the Dub is actually freakishly good. I'd have to pay to see the dub though. I won't be able to afford it for months since I'm saving for girly stuff I actually need :I (Nothing gross, just girly...like a straightener...diffuser...and pants that fit my growing EVERYTHING UGH SO FAT I NEED TO JUST DIE ALREADY Dx ) DONE! It was fabulous, though I'm not a fan of that wrench dude who shows up in the last 3 episodes XD
5)
Tiger & Bunny because it's new and everybody's doing it!

Ahem.
This, plus watching stuff on livestream with the bf is why I never have time to draw or chat on STP D:
that and making banners for people on GaiaOnline.
Gaia? Really?
wtf self? D:
Oh and I've been really curious about Madoka, too. I started noticing all the fanart on danbooru and the rampant hatred of Kyubey, even though it's really cute looking (though I personally thought it was also kinda creepy). That and whenever people asked questions about Madoka, on one ever said anything, it was always "Just got watch it for yourself." It also seems like a "dark" magical girl anime, so I was really wondering how that worked.
One of my friends asked me to draw her as a mahou shoujou/puella magi, and I decided to start watching it today. 3 episodes in and it has a really bizarre vibe to it. I wouldn't say "f*cked up" but it's weird... and I like it. I'm actually pretty tempted to finish this in one go.
Durarara has an excellent first half and a really good second half (though it gets a bit tedious to watch at times.) And judging from what I've read in this blog, later episodes in the first half have cameos that'll make you very excited.
Madoka Magica isn't necessarily "darker" or "edgier", but takes a lot of the staples of a Magical Girl show that have not necessarily been highlighted to the extent and the way they've been before... okay it can get pretty dark. It is quite excellent though. Highly recommended.
Watched the first four episodes of Blue Exorcist and really liked it. Holding off on watching more until I get volume 2 of the manga (hopefully tomorrow). It's by now means the greatest series but it looks good so far! And it doesn't seem like it'll go on forever because its supposed to be around 25 episodes or so, and it has nowhere near enough source material to go beyond that anytime soon, and filler story would just piss people off and hurt sales of the manga.
Baccano! is amazing! Watched it a couple of weeks ago and immediately asked for it for my birthday (and the set does include the three OVAs just FYI, and unlike OVAs of some other series these episodes actually serve to elevate the series even further by addressing any loose ends left by the original 13 and having a good, well developed story taken from the source material). I would kill to have the light novels and two-volume manga series released in English, I'd buy them in a hot second. He's the same author who wrote the Durarara light novels too (finish Baccano! before you resume watching DRRR... you'll thank me)
An anime you should really check out is "Tiger & Bunny" - Its a futuristic superhero show that in many ways resembles an western series. It's just... amazing.
Also thanks for letting me know about seeing Baccano first XD I know characters make Cameo's in DRRR but I'm sure I'll still thank ya!
ahh okay- about Madoka, that makes me feel a lot better XD
I think Blue Exorcist was gonna get a second season, but I can't remember where I heard that :'D
Thanks for the awesome insight! <3

Go here for the petition for the second season. XD
Madoka was a fun show~ For all the fear that it would burn out and crash horribly, it actually kept up the quality and was a fun (well, "fun" if you like deconstructions of genres) watch~
BBlue Exorcist.... If you like it, I might give it a try. I've heard a fair bit of good about it, but.... I just can't keep up with shows that last for more than two seasons. It's just too much....
Baccano! XD I was so skeptical about it, but I love it so~ Miria and Isaac~ <3 And the dub was really good! It was enough that I wasn't afraid to watch it with other people around. hahaha Either way you go, I think you'll enjoy it.
