The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Hey guys

For those who were wondering about my last poll: [link] I was just curious about who-all knew about it because...I don't like the show all that much, but only because it tends to hit me on a personal level even if it's supposed to be a comedy.

Mostly because that show is too much like my personal life;;;; (even if my personal life takes place online OTL)

I mean it's like they took me and the 3-4 people I've known since I was 12-13,

monitored all of our IM's to each other,

and turned it into a sit-com for everyone to see 8U;;; (Though I guess that only works if you watch it while knowing who is who, but I won't tell ya unless you ask 'cause nobody really cares XD)

Hrmm thats pretty interesting o3o I mean I figured out the ones like AppleJack and Twilight but I didn't realize Rainbow Dash was supposed to be Firefly,or Surprize was Pinky Pie...

I'm most happy with Twilight... They kept pretty true to her personality, and honestly I like the dark purple body better.

I wish they had kept Surprize/Pinkie Pie as a Pegasus Pony and Posey/Fluttershy as an Earth Pony though.... like idk it just really makes sense to me that someone as 'flighty' as Pinkie would have wings... and someone really down to earth and into gardening would be an EARTH pony. I'm pretty okay with Firefly/Rainbow Dash's changes... they kept true to the personality and I can't deny Rainbow Dash looks way cooler than Fireflies kinda boring just pink and blue color scheme.

Apple Jack... they didn't change the design or name like at all which makes me happy... but idk about the southern accent... =\ But that might just be because when I think apples... I can only think of New England (well New York too I guess >3>). I don't associate apples with the south AT ALL. I mean hell, Johhny Apple seed was from Massachusetts! Like if they wanted to keep her as Apple Jack they should have made her a Yankee... but if they wanted to keep her southern they should have made peaches or something...

IDK THATS JUST ME BEING PICKY.

But yeah now for the good stuff... I did watch the first couple episodes when they came out, and I gotta say I really do like it XD Like its girly and cheesy as hell. But still somehow really entertaining, and I can't deny I really like the art style. I just hope they make some more epic adventures like the first two episodes instead of just the cute silly shenanigans XD

Yeah, I see where you're comin' from! With Pinkie Pie as floaty as she is and Fluttershy as down to earth as she is, you'd think one would stay a Pegasus and the other would stay an Earth Ponie...but if ya think about it, Fluttershy is kinda like an Angel in a way (even has a bunny-friend named Angel xD) and since butterflies fly- and she even has flutter in her name- it kinda makes sense in that way~

as for Pinkie-Pie, I dunno if I'd want someone that hyper flyin' around all over the place XD plus if she had wings she probably wouldn't be able to do that cute, Pepe-le-pue bounce that she does xD

but wow, I didn't know Johnny Appleseed was from Massachusetts! Though oddly enough when I think apples, I think Washington state XD and since Washington is sorta-kinda near Montana...their accent is similar to southern so I have a hard time telling a difference xD Hmm I wonder if they grow apples in places like Tennessee or the Carolinas..? Plus most kids when they think of farms, they think either southern or country, so it was probably for familiarity :,D

Random brain farts aside, I just imagined AppleJack with a New England accent, and I lol'd XD

They MIGHT get back to a plot soon but the creators can only say so much. There's still some pretty epic episodes though, like the "Dragon-shy" episode.

It's true; southern soil is different than everywhere else, Florida soil especially! I don't even know if you can call that stuff soil XD It's like...sand...dirt...shells...lime stone...none of the really good stuff- and it's really squishy too xD (stay on the side-walk if you go there in heels- even people of normal weight will stab right through it- aka their heels sink XD It made me feel fat 'til my sister told me it happened to her Wisconsin-teacher when she first arrived xD) It's perfect for citrus though~

fffff now I wish I could hear her talk like that for reals XDDD Ah well imagination works fine too 8D

Huh... good to know XD I guess its the opposite here... its just alot of rocks and really dense. Its why we have alot of pine trees because they are tough and some of the only trees that really do well here. MA has some thick skin... literally. XD
