Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

(Basically I need your opinion on something, so if you just wanna help with that feel free to skip down to the stuff in italics :U)

Since I couldn't sleep because of a stomach ache, I figured I'd make a journal 8,D

Well things have been going okay, but art-wise I've been kinda not-doing-anything because my tablet would disappear, then reappear, over and over again. I won't have to share my tablet for much longer though because on December 4th my little sister will have enough money to buy her own tablet as an early Christmas gift- so she won't have to keep borrowing mine. (Or was it in January...? Either way it feels like a reverse-hand-me-down even though this tablet belongs to me;;;; )

ANYWAY, once I get back into the swing of things, the first thing you'll see from me will probably be FL's chibi-profile and AZ's state-kitty's meme filled out! 8D After that I'll work on Moekan and other Kitayume stuff. I might even make another, smaller art-dump, but whenever I even bring up stuff like that everyone's like "YEAH YEAH DO IT MIZU YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO IT" but when I do it, nobody freaking notices 8I;;;;;;;;; wtf people;;;; (Not that I'm calling the people who do notice "nobodies", but you know what I mean ;A; ) /pmsing

So like if you don't hate me after that, I have another sorta-favor/opinion-needed-thing I needs from ya guys 8U;;;

Basically it's about the Kitayume group I started. So far I think I've been doing a decent job at running it on my own, but I still want to have staff members. (I think like maybe 1-2 Co-Owner/s and 2-3 Contributors, I think that's all the ranks besides Owner right?) I have certain people in mind, but here's what I'm having trouble deciding. Should I...

a) Note the people I have in mind and see if they're up for it- if so, make it happen. (Even if 2 of the people I have in mind don't even have super-established dA accounts) OR...

b) Post a journal/blog entry on my dA and Kitayume about the open positions, and what they require, so I can see who-all would be interested in helping me out. (There could be people I know but didn't think of who're qualified/actually interested, or people in the group who are interested and qualified as well, but I wouldn't know unless I asked)

Again, I already have people in mind, (like Pinky since she asked first, I haven't forgotten about you ;w; ) but at the same time I'd like to give other people a fair opportunity for those jobs too. (or would that just make choosing all the more difficult?)

So what would you guys do? *A*
