Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

just celebrated her birthday yesterday! (I get to see her irl so I didn't feel like leaving her a message XD But y'all can go say hi to her if you want! I'm sure she won't kill me or nothin'

Also I know I've been super quiet lately, but I am extremely looking forward to that Adventures of Tintin movie coming out on Wednesday.

No seriously! I've been a fan of the Cartoon since I was five years old! o___o (Unfortunately, I didn't have access to the original comics. I Still don't D: ) MY EXCITEMENT CANNOT BE CONTAINED! It was pretty much the first series I ever fangirled over. I didn't have crushes on the characters or anything ~~y'knowlikeIdowithmostshowsIlike~~ but I just adored them and the action-packed goodness so darn much! @__@ I still do!

I'm pretty sure the movie's gonna be based off "The Crab with the Golden Claws", "The Secret of the Unicorn" and possibly "Red Rackham's Treasure". (Maybe you European Peeps can clarify?)

I vaguely remember catching an episode before getting dropped off at preschool or going to the dentist. I was told I used to watch it but I don't really remember. >: I actually wouldn't mind seeing it, the CGI looks pretty amazing.

It's neat seeing movies being made of old stuff. 10 minutes after getting off the phone with my dad last night, they showed a trailer for John Carter. It's based on a book my dad read when he was a kid called the Barsoom series. My dad hates going to the movies, but maybe he'll want to see that one.

Oh and I'm really sorry I haven't finished working on your thing, I got really busy with college. D: I was technically finished on Thursday, but I've been so behind that I went to the school yesterday. I'm finally done though! Still, I'm really sorry. ;-; I'm gonna work on it more tonight.

Its okay~ I was young so I actually don't remember a WHOLE lot myself. Like, I still get time-lines/adventures/bad guys' names mixed up XD I remember the main characters though and random adventures~

But yeah! I think Hollywood's trying to cash in on everybody's nostalgia XD Definitely leading to some creative things, even if some work better than others...

Anyway don't worry about that! Take all the time you need, no pressure at all <3 (Sometimes I say I'm gonna draw stuff but I end up never doing/finishing it XD At least you're trying!)

I guess you really did like it, I don't recall anything except that he had a dog and he went on adventures. Hell, I thought the dog was named Tin-Tin.

It's an effective ploy. Like how I bought the Angry Beavers dvds as soon as I heard they were releasing them. I was seriously excited when I found out about that.
