Dude I dunno what it is about this week but I've been super-super lazy;;;
I think it's because I went on a early Christmas shopping trip, and wounded up getting blisters and stuff 8U But I also got manga's and dvd's so that's cool~
BUT BEFORE I GET IN OTAKU MODE, GUESS WHAT? My cousin from Florida (one of the few relatives I've actually known-known since childhood) is havin' a baby!!

(So if she's my cousin, and she has a kid, does that make me like her kid's second cousin or what? 8U I'M CONFUSED BUT THAT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER 'CAUSE I'M GLAD FOR HER AND STUFF. MY COUSIN IS STILL ONE OF THE COOLEST PEOPLE EVER.)
Just thought I'd let you guys know 'cause I consider most of y'all family 8D

Card Captor Sakura is weirder then I remember it 8U (Then again I grew up on the dub and I've only seen a few episodes of the original anime, so this is the first time I got to read some of the manga) NOT WEIRD LIKE IN A HOMOPHOBIC WAY BUT WEIRD LIKE "DUDE YOU'RE A GROWN-@$$ MAN AND SHE'S LIKE NINE YEARS OLD" KIND OF WAY;;; (btw I've only read the first volume of the re-release, which is actually like 3 volumes in one; I recommend it because it's actually cheaper than those big volumes of Chobits & Azumanga Daioh; but it still has colored illustrations, beautifully restored images and the translation's actually decent, I think)
I also got vol. 1 of Trigun's manga; so far it's like the anime (I know it changes later on though) and instead of pussy-footing around about the whole Vash the Stampede thing, they pretty much acknowledge who he is right away so I don't have to sit through all that again XD That Plant-thing looks pretty ridiculous though, I ended up lol-ing xD
aaand I got the series collection of Outlaw Star on dvd >w> I've only watched the first disc so far but It's great to see episodes I've long-forgotten about; and the memorable characters make me feel like I'm seeing old friends again 
(Gene, Jim, Melfina, Aisha, and Suzuka- who appears on the next disc- I've missed you all!!) AND I FORGOT HOW COOL HILDA WAS SHE'S LIKE MY FAV VOICE ACTRESS TOO SOBIncidentally all those things are from my childhood 8U

Wow, talk about going old school again. Those are classics, man! Sounds like a fun Christmas to be breaking out into those series again. 8D

With Outlaw Star a lot of stuff about their world and the overall plot flew right over my head as a kid, so it's nice to watch the episodes all in order, even if I've already seen the hentai episode XD (Though I guess by today's standards it'd be more Ecchi than Hentai? Hmm)
But yeah it's really fun
BUT Congratulations to her. I hope she has a healthy baby 8D

Nice list of anime to check out, I heard Outlaw Star is pretty interesting.
Yeah, it's...well I heard it gets "meh" towards the end, but I think Gene, Jim, and Aisha's Charisma really makes up for it. (The other characters are cool too, but I think those 3 are my favorite, not including Hilda, though I wouldn't get too attached to her if I were you ;~; ) The show overall takes you on a fun, awesome ride; and if you liked Cowboy Bebop you'll probably like this too
And oh man, I know what you mean; I also recently watched some of the original episodes of Cardcaptor Sakura and I kept thinking I was misinterpreting that part, but ohgodno. XD
lol yeah XD Did that part with Sakura's friend dating/getting engaged to her teacher actually get animated? I wasn't sure if it was in the anime or manga-exclusive XD
