How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

You guys, I have a confession to make.

This probably won't come to that huge a surprise to anyone, but....sometimes.....I like girly things. Like REALLY GIRLY THINGS.

Wedding Peach and My Little Pony :V Yeah...

The first I've started watching lately because two of my friends have seen it, but they gave me polar opposite reactions. For one it was a guilty pleasure that they liked more than Sailor Moon, and to the other, it was f*cking horrible.

I haven't seen many episodes yet but I'd say my reaction is more like "lolwhut? Omg! This is hilarious." But it's actually not that bad XD (Not better than Sailor Moon though...and there are better magical girl shows I've seen; But it's not bad)

1) Demon guy only knows one curse word and says silly girly things all seriously.
2) Angel guy who has permanent Bishi sparkles. Accept when he fights. But the rest of the time it's like a German Sparkle Party~
3) The fact that they have to transform twice kinda annoys me, (once for their dresses and one for their fighting outfits) but then I lol because the wedding dresses actually distract and confuse the bad guys. If you saw an angry bride headed your way I'm sure your heart would be fear-stricken as well XD}}

Moving on- Y'know the guy who made the Powerpuff Girls and Foster's home for Imaginary friends? Well, his wife was in charge of designing a never-before-seen generation of My Little Ponies. And Well- here they are: [link]

AWESOME!! ;u; I can actually distinguish their personalities and they're not just massive piles of giggley superficial-ness akshkash qiuyyewi qwiyiuqwyeiyhdkqsh (Yeah yeah I know you 80's peeps will tell me the originals had personalities too, but you gotta admit they kinda all looked alike >:U Now I can match colors to individual faces and shizz ffff)

And I'll be another one to jump on you and say the 80s ones tooootally had personalities ;A; Like one of my favorite episodes actually was when they were all being douche bags to Wind Whistler because shes the logical one and they were all YOU COLD HEARTED BITCH YOU HAVE NO FEELINGS. ....well of course they didn't say it like that but you know XD Also those were the Crunch the Rock Dog episodes which were just freakin amazing.

FKSGHFJGH DAMN IIIITTT now Im on my Pony kick again.... and I used to have the entire first season of MLP but I lost it/ I think I lent it to a friend who never gave it back. FFFFFFF-

But if you like MLP you REALLY REALLY REALLY should try and find the original promo for it. freakin unbelivable oAo Its a very old school cartoon style and its just so good, its actually REALLY dark. Like this nightmare king captures some of the little ponies with his scary ass dragons and then chains the ponies up in a dungeon and turns them into horrible monsters. As much as I like the more cuter fluffier show it would have been cool if they had made it as dark as the promo was XD

As for what I think of the new show..... Im not sure yet. Im not thrilled, but I can't say Im dissapointed either. Of course Im a fan of PPG and all so Im decently hopeful

lol I'm sure the originals had personalities too ;u; But they all had almost the same faces and bodies so it's really hard for me to tell them apart XD;;; (like if they had the same hair styles and if I were color-blind, it'd be harrrrd D: )

I can understand being apprehensive about the new show though. Oddly enough the MLP cartoon wasn't really a part of my childhood, and even though we had some of the toys growing up, I didn't REALLY hit my pony-craze 'til much later in childhood, when the show was probably long-gone @A@ So the only knowledge I have of Ponies-past is, well, this: [link] entertaining but not exactly flattering ;u;

Either way I'm sure the new series will be pleasantly surprising, so I kinda look forward to it. The creator of the show was a fan of MLP too and the higher-ups probably had a hand in the creative process, so whether the changes to some of the ponies were her idea or not is a mystery~ (Though I think it may have been cooler if they were more anatomically correct XD)
