I downloaded a 30-day trial version of Sony Vegas pro 9
The problem is it's a little harder to use than WMM, (I pretty much know how it functions, but I can't highlight multiple clips and drag 'em, and I can't split clips in the imported-media section like I do with WMM, -that I know of- so it's kinda daunting and ughh-worthy) so it's kinda killing my drive even though I really wanna be able to use the cool affects and stuff ;A; (If I can even use them in an effective matter OTL)
Heck I don't even know if I wanna finish this project when I'm having such a hard time starting it OTL (The subject and song would be kinda stupid, but...sob idk ;A; )
But like...if you use this program yourself, do you have any tips and tricks or anything? ;u; I'd appreciate any help you can give me!
I don't even know why I'm asking my beloved dA peeps this OTL Sorry to bother you;;;

Youtube has tutorials for pretty much anything you could need 83 The main thing is to remember that you can use the 'S' key to split clips, pressing 'CTRL' and then clicking the end of a clip and dragging it will speed it up/slow it down, there are mute buttons on the side if you wanna get rid of a sound layer, or you can right click said sound layer and click 'Delete Track'. Make sure the video itself matches the output size by clicking the event pan/crop button, right clicking, and selecting 'Match Output Aspect'
Also, make sure when you're rendering videos that the Letterbox option is UNTICKED! 83
Other than that, you'd need to be more specific on what you'd like to know XD I'm no pro, but I muddle along and have figured a lot of it out on my own :3
Just keep redownloading the 30-day trial? XD Or find a way to download it for free, I'm sure it's somewhere, I have photoshop downloaded for free and a serial code I found online :'D
Bleh, I hate the windows 7 movie maker XD *downloaded something like that once during an update* Hope ya get use to it though :'3
