Yeah hoppin' on the bandwagon and kinda drew Pottermore!me. I fail at drawing unique body types- I looked fatter in the sketch but when I added the clothes suddenly the only thickness that's noticeable are the legs and maybe the face ahhh also I know pencil skirts aren't regulation uniform but oh well SWAG

and I kinda got sorted into Gryffindor.

I guess I need to act more like a BAMF now? :U

hahahaha

haha

ha...

yeah I'm the resident cowardly lion but the brave kid I used to be would be so proud~ ; u ;

Daw, you's a witch. I think the pencil skirt (didn't know that's what they were called) is a nice touch, it helps accent the legs. For some reason the coloring reminds me of PSG, and I've only seen one episode.

It seems like Pottermore popped up way back and was all big and stuff, then it disappeared, and then it popped up a lot, and then disappeared again. I really don't know much about it. Would be interesting to see where I'd be sorted into, though.
(I thought "BAMF" was an amusing sound effect. It's a thing?)

BAMF is kind of an amusing sound effect- but it originally stood for "Bad@$$ Mother f*cker" XD So when people say "They're a total BAMF!" its kind of like saying both things XD

and thank you! Yeah- I had to learn what a Pencil Skirt was a while ago...like when I was researching how to dress my body type properly >__> Oddly enough I actually don't own a pencil skirt at all! But if I did, it'd probably be the only skirt I'd wear in public ;__;

and yeah I know what you mean about the pottermore thing!! I think it was popular back when people had to jump through all kinds of hoops just to beta test it, and it kind of died down, but then it went into OPEN beta so everyone was joining because a lot of people grew up with HP- and if they didn't, all their friends did XD

People would still be having fun there, except that a) All you can do is fight and mix Potions, and b) Only book 1 is available to explore. I guess the second book needs to be unlocked, or something, idk O_O

Anyway thanks for commenting! I think I was kind of in a PSG-ish mood when I drew the face, for some reason XD

Ahhh, okay. I'd hate to use it without knowing what it means... which I've probably done with other words;;

Kinda reminds me of the skirt Bel/Bianca wears (I still have to play B/W!). Someone called it a "cocoon skirt" and I thought that was an awesome name. They look nice, but I'd imagine they're hard to move in... especially if you're living the rugged lifestyle of a Pokemon Trainer.

I guess the closed beta made it all the more appealing because no one really knew that the hell it was back then, aside from it being something big with Harry Potter.

I remember some minigames in the DVD extras for the first movie. Picking out the wand was fun, but potion brewing didn't make any sense and it kept exploding on me. I guess that was quite a while ago, though... Making potions actually sounds kinda fun.

Do you work on your pictures at a bigger size and shrink it down for upload?

Ahh I see- I'll have to check out those extras! Its been a while XD

and nah- whatever I upload is usually what size it actually is. I SHOULD PROBABLY WORK AT A BIGGER SIZE AND THEN SHRINK IT DOWN. but idk. when its too big it warps my perception a bit XD I can't explain it! So I just draw it at whatever size and use the zoom in to do details/line-art and stuff. (Its an awful habit though)

Ah, I have that problem too. I like to draw small pictures with pencil because it's easier to control, but then I get to the tiny details and then it becomes horribly frustrating. That's one of the nice things about working on a tablet. You can zoom in a lot and you can always seperate parts on layers and stuff. It's really quite liberating because I'm always afraid of messing up what I have.

I was looking up tutorials on how to make better lineart, and the only thing that didn't go over my head was "work on a bigger scale and then shrink it down". I thought the lineart on this picture was quite nice, so I figured I'd ask and see.

Oh you think its that nice? Thank you so much! ; u ;

and yeah, I always had that problem too, especially whenever I'm working on paper. Tablets really are great, but you can do really nice line-art by mouse too, if you're willing to fiddle with the Pen Tool. Its kind of frustrating at fist, but once you get the hang of it, its not so bad :3 Sometimes I even use mouse and tablet interchangeably XD Tablet pen strokes for a more organic look, and the pen tool for more a clean look.

My problem with the pen tool is that I learned how to kinda use it in Illustrator, and it doesn't behave exactly the same in Photoshop (which is odd). I'll have to look into that for when I want to try my hand at making buildings or something. I've been doing "practice" things on Photoshop but I either like it as plain lineart, or I decide I want it to be more than a scribbling and try to fix it up. The last part isn't so bad, but I keep jumping from one thing to another without really finishing anything.
