It's done. It's finally done. I'm so tired right now and yet...so happy ; w ; (I know, just a chibi, but I'll rant about the trouble it gave me some other time Dx )

Anyway, first thing's first, here's some copy-pasta of the text in the image incase the crappy Japanese-like font hurts you!

Now for some explanations of the above text!

"Shoot first and Ask questions later": There's apparently a law in Florida that actually allows you to immediately shoot someone in self-defense if you think your life is in danger. (like if an armed robber comes into your house, it's okay to shoot them) Because of the way it's worded though, this law has been somewhat misinterpreted XD'

"very in-touch with Spanish-speaking cultures": Not only was she raised by Spain, but Florida often houses people from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and even Mexico. That's quite a few in comparison to people here in Illinois who only see people from Mexico, specifically

"including Alligators- which are common outside of City Areas (and even then...)": As most people know, Florida is crawling with Alligators. While common to see them outside City Areas, that doesn't seem to stop them from occasionally making their way into city areas as well!

Her Appearance: Wardrobe

First thing's first, you're probably wondering why her outfit and even hair-style resembles Wy (the Principality!)

Well, this version of Florida's always had her Ponytail, tank top, and sandals before Wy came along, so I guess that was just coincidence.

As for the shorts, this is actually a funny story. I've been meaning to re-vamp Florida's wardrobe for a long time, and I thought this style of khaki & baggy shorts suited her personality and surroundings.

Before I could ever put the idea down on paper, though; Wy was posted on Himaruya's blog for the first time! Needless to say I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed at myself, however, I decided to keep the look since Google said that "Florida is the Australia of America". (It doesn't say that anymore, though. I should have capped it when I had the chance!)

Her Appearance: Hair and eyes:

While she doesn't look too closely related to Spain, England, or even America; she does however have the "Stereotypical Floridian" look to her.

_{(Not including Tourists/immigrants/old people/snow birds- also excluding the tan skin because of Spain being either fair-skinned or olive-skinned. I'm pretty sure both of those don't tan too well, but I only know because I'm the same way XD)}

At least, from what I can remember anyway. (I haven't lived in Florida since Middle School, sob OTL So a lot of it was me asking around and what not)

Her Appearance: Sex/Gender

I decided to make her a girl for several reasons...so I'll just lazily list them all. Not tryin' to change your mind or nothin' though:

1) When I was little, I always thought the peninsula was shaped like a hand gun, not a certain male organ. I still kinda see it that way.
2) A male organ with a male organ confuses me- but I guess a male organ with lady parts confuses me too, so I should have thought that through from the start!
3) At the time, I just didn't have any male designs in mind. I DO NOW, but...her look is kinda based off someone who used to bully me, and she happened to be a girl XD I chose her design 'cause I always imagined her to be the Floridian stereotype. (Accept she seemed pale and less sporty)

OKAY, I THINK THAT'S EVERYTHING CHARACTER-WISE. Some of you knew this stuff already anyway;;;;;

Art wise though, this is me trying to copy Himaruya's style to the MAX. Everything. Colors, line-art, fonts, text sizes, surrounding items, (The Flowers are orange blossoms btw) maps, flags, and even THE WAY I colored it all, I did so in my best to mimic him. Why? I don't know, I just HAD to!
